our new home

Our long held dream of a new home for all our activities is getting closer and closer each day.

Contractors have been identified and we now have to complete our fundraising to fit out our fabulous space. We could be open by Easter 2022!

Visitors visitors!

Over the last few months we have had lots of visitors to look around our wonderful new space. All our staff have now seen their new workplace and can't wait to get back home. Most of our local Councillors, the Mayor of Hackney, our MP Dame Meg Hillier, our Patron, Afua Adom, and her daughter as well as some of our Trustees and local community leaders have visited and we are grateful for all the support. It has been such a pleasure to show them around and describe how the space will be used for the community. Everyone is very impressed with the development and the tenacity of the whole Ivy Street Team to have come this far.

Our dream for families with primary school aged children to have a safe and welcoming space to learn, play and thrive in Hoxton, is now tantalisingly close.

Because we are taking on a completely empty shell of a building we need funds to fit it out with all the right facilities. Could you help us? Every penny will be used to get us closer to opening the doors.

£100 will give us an extractor fan in the toilets

£200 will give us waste outlet and plumbing

£500 will give us a hot water cylinder

£1,000 will give us a sink and hob in the kitchen

£5,000 will give us non slip, toddler friendly flooring to the activity space

£10,000 will give us flexible lighting throughout the activity spaces
